The mission of the Black Writers' Guild of Maryland, Inc. is to provide avenues of support and networking to Maryland's African-American writers.

Major programs and activities:

*Workshops that educate writers on the aspects of writing and publishing.

*Showcases to provide forums for writers to find their voice through public presentations of their work.
*Mentoring to youth and adults who have an interest in finding their literary voice.

Come join us!  We meet the first Saturday of each month (September to June) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at:

Meetings are free for current members and first-time vistors. For all others, the donation is $5.00. Bring a friend!
